Description

Pines on the Lake is located in south Lake Tahoe, one of the west coast’s most iconic ski destinations. On the shores of Lake Tahoe, this area offers a wealth of natural and scenic beauty, as well as an almost never-ending list of things to do and see. ☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆

All four bedrooms feature wilderness-themed accents, high-end decor, luxury mattresses and beddings, all surrounded by gorgeous views.

Fall fast asleep in the giant King bed in the master bedroom with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and a deer theme. Or settle in one of the bright teal armchairs by the bay windows with a book or e-reader. The earthy colors of the woods weave themselves into this bedroom, and the result is a nature-inspired place to relax.

The second bedroom offers a Queen bed with a handcrafted bed frame, matching nightstands, and a window that overlooks the property. The decor together with the warm brown and gray color tones pays tribute to one of the more intelligent creatures of the forest: the bear.

The third bedroom also has a Queen bed surrounded by snow-themed decor. This room has sliding glass doors that not only let in plenty of natural light but also offer access to a private deck. Guests in this room can sneak out to the balcony at any time of the day.

The fourth bedroom is bright and playful and features a bunk bed and an adorable children’s play tent. Kids will be excited about bedtime as they climb up to the top twin bunk or snuggle in the full bed on the bottom.

☆☆ BATHROOMS ☆☆

This home has two and a half bathrooms. The master bathroom in the deer suite has two pedestal-style sinks, decorative light fixtures, a sleek tile backsplash, plenty of hidden storage, and a remodeled walk-in shower with a frameless door.

The spacious downstairs bathroom features intricate tilework throughout, double vanities, and a tub/shower combo. The half bath is upstairs.

The focal point of the recently renovated living room is the gas-stove rock wall fireplace. Multiple comfortable sofas surround the fireplace with unobstructed views of the front yard. Nestle into a cozy spot at the bay window and soak in the sunshine with a cup of coffee, or grab the remote and catch up on your favorite shows. If you’re working while on vacation, prop up your laptop on the convenient desk, connect to the WiFi and get work done with a view.

When you’re ready for some Good Old-Fashioned family time, head to the game room for a friendly game of shuffleboard, foosball table, or pool! This additional lounge area has a comfy sofa and a TV, so you can spread out and enjoy hours of fun with your friends and family.

Cooking and eating meals is another sure way to bring your family together, and this kitchen provides plenty of room to do it. The open-concept kitchen aims to provide a five-star experience with hanging decorative light fixtures, top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances, custom cabinets, granite countertops, and a sleek center island.

There’s a gas stove and range, full-size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and industrial-style sink. The drawers and cabinets are stocked with utensils, plates, wine glasses, and kitchen essentials. Make sure to take advantage of the coffee maker, toaster, blender, or gourmet knife set. Other extras like a spice rack, rice cooker, slow cooker, air fryer, and charming corner coffee bar make this kitchen feel like home.

The center island provides plenty of space to meal-prep and doubles as a breakfast bar with four high-top bar stools. The kitchen also looks out over a central dining area with a classic dining room table and seating for six. This home is surrounded by tall pine trees, providing shade around the property and also creating a feeling of being tucked away in the wilderness. There is a small front porch that leads into the home, but most of the outdoor entertainment space is in the backyard.

In winter, the entire backyard is transformed into a winter wonderland, with snow-topped trees and white landscapes as far as the eye can see. During the warmer months, the expansive back deck is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the view. Sliding glass doors lead from the main living room to the main deck, where you’ll find luxury outdoor lounge furniture and a dining table. Enjoy lunch under the shady umbrella, or pull a chair into the sunny spots and laze away in the sun.

▶︎ Keep all trash in the trash bag and place them in the bear metal box. Do not leave trash outside of the bear box or front porch. Trash collection day is THURSDAY. Please bring all trash by Wednesday night.
▶︎ Any sort of fire is not allowed on the property.
▶︎ Hot Tub use only between 8am and 10pm
▶︎ No more than three cars parking at any time. No on-street parking
▶︎ Outdoor security surveillance cameras are around house perimeter and home entrance.
▶︎ Noise aware sensors may be installed inside and on the deck to monitor noise levels. Noise should be kept to reasonable level. We live in quiet neighborhood so please respect neighbors. No loud music after 10pm per city ordinance.
▶︎This is family-oriented home and no parties or events allowed. We expect all guests to be respectful, mature and responsible. If you are trying to bring many people and planning for a party, this home is not for you. We provide warm, clean and tastefully decorated home for those who enjoy their travel experiences and family vacations. Please treat it as your own.
▶︎ Guests agree to comply with Eldorado County Vacation Home Rental Ordinance. Failing to do so may result in fines and even eviction.
▶︎ Keep front door and windows are shut upon departure. It is not uncommon for animals to enter an unlocked door and guests may be liable for any damage due to not following this policy.
▶︎ Covid 19: We increased surface cleaning and disinfecting protocol. Surfaces and highly touched areas are cleaned and disinfected.
▶︎ Please replace Hot Tub cover and need to be strapped and locked after each use. It is requirement by El Dorado County.

By Sein T – We had FIVE STARS experience. This was second time we stayed at this cabin. We enjoyed our stay and it was amazing. Plenty of space for everyone. Kids like arcade game, pool table and other activities. House was very clean and decorated with mountain theme. We enjoyed relaxing at hot tub and gorgeous pine trees view from the deck. Well appointed cabin and host was very responsive and good at communicating. Well stocked kitchen and coffee bar. We travelled with an infant and crib they had was very useful. Host prepared wine, snacks and water bottles. There were plenty of towels and enough for everyone. Beds and pillows were comfy. Location was close to shops, restaurants, Heavenly ski resort and hiking trails. Check-in was very easy and keyless entry. Don’t think twice and book this one you will not regret.
